Magickal Properties
Gender: Masculine
Planet: Jupiter
Element: Air
Used for Protection & Sleep

Agrimony is best known for its sleep-inducing qualities, therefore it is excellent in dream pillows,
especially mixed with mugwort. Agrimony enhances magickal healing.

A wash or oil increases effectiveness of all forms of ritual healing, psychic healing, or distance
healing. You can anoint hands with oil to cleanse auras. It also creates a barrier against negative
energies.

Use if you feel to be under psychic attack. A counter-magick herb, it not only breaks hexes, but
sends them back to the hexer.

Did You Know? (Background)
Agrimony was used historically as a medicine by the ancient Greeks to treat eye problems, clear
up diarrhea, help the gallbladder, liver, and kidneys function properly, heal wounds, and treat
fungus such as Athlete's foot.

King Mithridates Eupator of Pontus had a thorough understanding of herbal remedies and
promoted its use among the population. It was commonly used in wartime to help heal soldiers’
wounds.
