Juniper is primarily used as a tonic. Juniper can be used to treat cystitis and water retention. Juniper will
help to aid digestion and can help to settle a sour stomach. Juniper can be applied to skin externally to
help soothe it. Juniper can be used to help women who have problems with menses. It can stimulate a
heavier flow of menstrual blood.

Used throughout Europe as a protective herb, Juniper also guards against theft.  It was probably one of
the earliest incenses used by Mediterranean Witches.  Juniper hung at the door protects against evil
forces and persons, and it is burned in exorcism rites.  A sprig of the plant protects a wearer against
accidents and attacks by wild animals.  It also guards against ghosts and sickness.

Juniper is added to love mixtures and the berries are carried to increase male potency. When carried or
burned, Juniper helps the psychic powers and breaks hexes and curses, and drives of snakes.

used to treat problems of the urinary tract. It also helps to treat a sour stomach. Juniper can also be
helpful for people suffering from gout or arthritis. In women's health, juniper can help aid menstrual flow.

Juniper should not be taken by women who are pregnant or have heavy menses. Do not take if you
