Mugwort is primarily used in Chinese herbal medicine to prevent miscarriage and reduce menstrual
bleeding. Mugwort has been used as a tonic herb. Mugwort has been used to aid in digestion and
improve appetite. It also helps to rid the body of intestinal worms. Mugwort is used for childbirth and
menstruation, though it's not clear what effect it has on the uterus.
