Medicinal Properties
Witch hazel is primarily used externally as an astringent. Witch hazel can be used to treat hemorrhoids,
facial veins, or varicose veins. It tightens blood vessels to help repair them. Witch hazel can be applied
to inflamed skin to soothe it. It is especially helpful for eczema. Witch hazel can be used as eyewash to
relieve eye inflammation. On occasion, witch hazel is used to treat diarrhea
